wk 3: Le sketches

For a fews weeks now I have been attempting to remember how to draw with varying degrees of success. After 16 pages of doodling/remembering I came up with my final-ish character. Luckily I chose the Ancient Celts because it turns out I wasn't allowed to do the Middle age Knights anyway! So here are my etchings:

My bizarre thought pattern is probably apparent as the pages progress. Firstly I was sketching to find a style that suits me, like what shape eyes and head and how the arms flow. Then I experimented with facial features, and found that big noses looked good! Eventually I stumbled upon a stlye that I liked, My only problem is making it 3D as my character style is inherently 2D but I like a good challenge!
